At the age of eight a young boy went with his older brother and sister in a three-seat parasail. Later when asked if he had been scared he responded that he was but he kept telling himself that he would have fun once he got on the boat.

He said that once he got on the boat he wasn?t scared anymore. At the age of eight this little guy discovered the power of self-talk. This is something that most adults still don?t understand.

You must discover the power of Self Talk and start getting rid of the negativity in your life. This isn?t some new-age, guided meditation thing. This is the reality of what happens to us as human beings. We believe what we hear consistently. If we consistently hear ourselves say ?that isn?t possible? then guess what? We?ll believe it!

We also have people in our lives who are sure that the sky is falling. Ignore those people. They may be important in your life but their beliefs are not yours. Do NOT make them your beliefs!

Be a Learner. When you start anything new there is always a learning curve. When I started a new job at a hospital years ago I laughingly told my mother that I was just getting my feet wet but trying to stop from drowning at the same time. I was new to the position, the hospital, the city and the state. I had a million things to learn but the hospital expected me to be fully functional the first day on the job!

Remember you have quite a bit to learn, even if you are a veteran Internet marketer. This technology is changing so quickly that the marketing techniques that worked two months ago may not be as effective today. You have to stay, if not ahead of the curve, at least on top of it.

Learning this kind of material is not like learning in school. You may not have enjoyed reading the Geography text book but you will enjoy learning about the new ways you can market your products, or research your products or the new ways you can produce your products.

Learning every day will stretch your beliefs about yourself. It will change your mindset. It will stretch your growth and also increase your chances for success. You will become a different person. It?s a great process. It is a process. There is no end and that makes learning even more fun! You can dream ? so dream BIG.

But Stay Focused. There are only a limited number of resources in your life. You have a limited number of hours in the day and dollars in your advertising budget. Use them wisely. What is the best focus you can have?
